DC K.O. #3 Review

Pure, dumb fun!

A little surprised at some of the outcomes here, but you can’t win ’em all and I’m not even mad. The gimmick in this round is pretty cool too, interesting to see why each fighter chose their partners.

I was starting to get concerned about the level of focus on Joker in this story, especially knowing who’s writing this series, but it actually seems like Scott knows when to take things seriously and when he can have a little fun with it. Very on brand for the Joker.

This is truly the scariest comic I have read, maybe ever. Forcing me to think about the Black Adam bit from Dark Crisis? Evil. I genuinely felt my blood run cold for the whole two pages it looked like I was going to have to hear more about The Batman Who Laughs. I will be suing DC for causing emotional distress for real.

Still pumped for the final two issues, still working out my theories for this and Knightfight but I think Snyder and Williamson will do a great ending regardless!!
